I am searching for my father, who I have not
seen since I was 3. I am a veteran myself of the Air Force as a
medic and I have been trying to find him with the little bit
of information I have. I know he was in the military twice. Let me
give you the details that I know.
His first enlistment:
Name: Jack Richard Miller
112th Ordiance Co. Armory
Newary, Ohio
Enlistment time: 10-17-1960 to discharge of 2-13-1961
His second enlistment:
Name: Jack Richard Miller
HH & S Btry, 2/19 Arty Cabn
1st Air Cav Div
APO San Francisco, CA 96490
Enlistment time: 11-14-1965 to discharge of 1-1-1967 I think He went
AWOL and spent sometime 9-16-1966, after he came back at Ft Sam
Houston, TX Brooke Army Medical Center. I think he was discharged
right after he spent time there. He might even have gotten a
dishonorable discharge for going AWOL, I don't know.
The only information I have on him is that his birthday is 8-5-1943,
eyes-blue, hair- brown, 5' 101/2" tall which was on his DD214 from
his 1960 discharge. I have no social security number just the
service numbers they gave the enlisted back then. I
would appreciate any help you could give me in finding him. I don't
even remember him and it has been 35 years. I sure would love
to reunite with him. Kathy Miller Duggan

I am trying to locate Edwin A. Poppe. My name
is Char Jaeger. I was married to Ed in 1983 and we had a son who is
now 19. We have lost contact with Ed and I'm very worried about his
well-being. The last time we spoke on the phone he was sick. I've
contacted the V.A. but for confidentiality reasons they can't tell
me an address. They were helpful enough to forward a letter to him
,But it ws sent back to stating he was
no longer at that address-which was a motel in Hot Springs S.D. I
Have no ulterior motives to locate Ed except to know if he is well.
We have never been out of touch this long. He would always call us
as he was on the move alot. I have a S.S.# but probably should,nt
print it here. I would appreciate any information I could receive. f
you could help me or my son ,Colt, please reply back s soon as
possible. I fear something has
happened and we would not be notified. I need to do this over the
internet for personal reasons of my own. Sincerely, Charlene Jaeger
